The Opening of a New Yarn Shop

September 28, 2011
I am more than thrilled that a new shop will be coming to my small town!  The Spotted Sheep Yarn Shoppe.  It’s where I’ve been spending a lot of my free time, either at the store, or working on their new website: spottedsheepyarnshoppe.com.  Here are some sneak previews…..

More after their Grand Opening on Saturday!  I will also be teaching classes there, starting sometime this fall!
… And… according to the latest issue of Martha Stewart Living magazine, our Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off and Regatta is “Worth the Drive”!  I wonder if this year’s festival will be more crowded than ever because of that promo.  Wondering what I’m talking about?  Check out this post … I never mentioned it, but that’s Mr. Tamdoll in the clown costume!
Is there anything you love or find special about where you live?

  1. Wow! Sounds like the perfect job for you. You get paid to do what you enjoy. Singapore is a very small country and it's easy to get around. We've spent weekends going to different malls to discover shops. Where I live is a dead place tho'. We have literally nothing - just eating places and a few unattractive shops. It used to be a quiet place but flats and condos are constantly being built until right now we have no open spaces left.

  6. Thanks all for your nice comments!! I have been spending so much time there and neglecting my own site and work. It's been a fun distraction though, something I have needed.
