My little girl, last seen knitting here in 2006! has learned to crochet and taken to it very well. Here’s a turtle she made from the book Amigurumi Two!: Crocheted Toys for Me and You and Baby Too & I’m so proud of her:
Now I have one child that crochets, and another who [grudgingly] knits.
Awwwww. I absolutely LOVE the turtle. They are my favourite and fill my home and desk at work. :) Super duper job!
ReplyDeleteYour girl is way ahead of me already. You're a great teacher.
ReplyDeleteWOW your little girl is soo talented! I love this gorgeous turtle she made! I am so inspired by her and you! Have alovely merry happy day and love to yoU!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cute. And I love turtles!
ReplyDeleteTOO CUTE!! (And very impressive!!) Talent obviously runs in the family ... She is lucky to have such a great teacher :-)
ReplyDeleteGood for you passing on your skills! That little turtle rocks. You daughter may be crocheting rings around you in no time! That's what happened to me when I taught Diane to embroider.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest wish as a mom is that my kids surpass me in every skill and accomplishment, and that they succeed in everything they strive for.
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo cute! Good job!
