I got a "Kreativ Blogger" award.And I’ve been stalling in my acceptance of it.
Why? Because there are requirements. I’m sounding a little stressed and ungrateful right now, aren’t I? Well, that’s what I realized. I’m so honored to have been recognized by a fellow blogger – Foxy G – I cannot let it just slip away.
Here are the rules for the award acceptance:Now for the 7 things you probably didn’t know about me:
- Thank the person giving the awards, and link to their blog
- Copy award to your blog
- Name 7 things people don’t know about you
- Nominate 7 bloggers, link to them & leave a comment on their blogs letting them know of their award
1- I don’t watch tv. Except for the once-a-month sci-fi foray, I avoid it completely. Well, there’s True Blood. So, almost completely.
2- My grandparents had a bakery while I was growing up in NY – most of my baking now is done in bulk with pounds (not cups) of flour and sugar each time.
3- I drive people to their appointments sometimes for The Caregivers, Inc.
4- I love to eat spicy food. Like, ‘makes you cry’ spicy.
5- “Alternative” is my music genre of choice.
6- My name really is Tammy. Not Tamara as I’m often asked.
7- I collect postcards. Randomly, just picking them up when I like them and stashing them in drawers all over my house. There must be 100’s by now.
This seems like a lot of work … and I don’t want to pressure any nominees or make them feel reluctant to participate, too… but I’m going to continue so whoever’s reading here can at least enjoy the ones I point out to you.
