Earrings for Purim

February 26, 2009
Purim Earrings I just finished these great Hamantash earrings and put one pair up for sale in my etsy shop.  I made a bunch over the last few days and tried different fillings – wool roving looked hairy – beads looked too lumpy – so, decided on felt.  The felt triangles are easy to pop in and out with a pair of tweezers – you just poke them into the corners – and you can have any flavor you like – poppy, raspberry, apricot or almond.  These were definitely fun to make despite the itsy bitsy crochet hook and sore fingers (they’re 1/2” long each).
