A Question (or two) for readers

July 7, 2008
Would you mind leaving a comment?
I'm curious where people start when they find someone interesting on the internet. I was wondering if anyone who reads my blog also clicks through to my flickr site or etsy shop? Or are one of those sites where you started from and found this blog in my profile?

When I'm browsing around on flickr I like to see if someone has a blog because I want to read about how they make their crafts, and that usually leads me to a shop if they have one, too. When I'm at a blog, I'll click on flickr links if I think they'll have more pictures to look at, so I guess it's just a big circle of browsing for me.

  1. I honestly don't remember how I found you, but I definitely do the same big circle of browsing. Whether it is someone's shop or flickr, I always check to see if they have a blog or a shop or whatever so I can check that out too.

I do think you should put a link to your etsy shop and your flickr in your sidebar though :) When you asked the questions I was trying to remember if I'd seen your shop or your flickr, and it turns out I have, but I couldn't find the links to those places on your blog :)

  2. I found your Etsy shop first. I posted about it on my blog, The Orange Room, a while back. You'd responded to my forum post on Etsy, I liked your shop, and I added your blog to my blogroll. And now it's one that I check in on all the time. :)

  3. I usually starts with the blogs. And I jump from blog to blog through indication or the blogrolls I encounter. I go to FlickR when I see some photo or work I really like and want to see more but I usually don't browse around much there. And I'm running away from Etsy right now because I can't buy anything at the moment (real crunch time) so I prefer not be tempted. :D

  4. found you thru raggedaroundtheedges
    , one skein.....then you I guess.
It's wild how many people you can find in a short amount of time!
    take care
