I do other things besides knitting.

Really. I just don't do it fast enough or take pictures of it to put up here. Here's another pair of Knitty's Fetching mittens that I finished last week, blocked and finally photographed. They're on their way to a friend I haven't seen in a while (and if you're reading this - act surprised!)






And here's some more knitting... My latest "stashbusting" project: A baby hat from the book 101 Designer one-skein Wonders (affiliate link). I wasn't sure if I had enough blue for the entire hat, so I'm going to see how it comes out with two different yarns, even though they're different weights. So far I already had to rip it out - casting on 72 stitches created a hat big enough for my head... one day I'll make a gauge swatch.... but I'm too impatient when I want to start a project!




I really love these two colors together.
